Mom's Touch to Open 50 Kazakhstan Outlets Under Shin-Line Franchise Deal
South Korean fast-food chain Mom's Touch will roll out at least 50 restaurants in Kazakhstan over the next ten years through a master franchise agreement with Shin-Line Group.
Mom's Touch, a South Korean burger chain, announced a master franchise deal with Shin-Line Group to establish a minimum of 50 outlets in Kazakhstan within the next decade, with the agreement also covering Kyrgyzstan. The first Kazakh store is expected to open in the first half of 2027, building on the brand's 2025 launch in Uzbekistan. Shin-Line's restaurant arm, Mom's Touch Central Asia LLP, will provide local expertise and leverage its cold-chain logistics network that serves roughly ten countries and its dominance of over 40% of the regional ice-cream market.
The expansion will focus on major cities such as Astana and will include the chain's signature chicken-thigh burgers, fried chicken and pizza. Shin-Line also operates more than 70 South Korean convenience-store outlets, mainly in Almaty, which will aid distribution. The company sees strong demand for its chicken-centric menu in a market where about 70% of the population is Muslim and meat consumption is high.
