Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned arm of Pansar Bhd, accepted a civil and structural subcontract from KKB Engineering for the second phase of Samalaju's water infrastructure upgrade.
Pansar Bhd’s subsidiary Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd has signed a letter of acceptance with KKB Engineering for civil and structural works on the second phase of Samalaju's water-infrastructure upgrade, a component of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy. The scope includes building and completing structures for a raw water intake, pumping mains and a 120-ML water-treatment plant, as well as related facilities. The 36-month contract will commence next month.
Pansar expects the project to positively affect its earnings and net asset base during the contract term. The company also affirmed that none of its directors, major shareholders, or their associates hold any direct or indirect interest in the agreement.
Why it matters
The deal expands Pansar's infrastructure portfolio and supports water supply development in Sarawak's SCORE region.
