Police visit Hickerson family home in Greenville days after Panettiere death
Greenville officers knocked on the Hickersons' grandmother house shortly after Hayden Panettiere was discovered dead at a nearby Airbnb.
Early on Wednesday, two patrol cars from the Greenville Police Department pulled up to the residence of Betty Ellison, the grandmother of Brian and Zach Hickerson, in Greenville, South Carolina. Officers knocked repeatedly on the front door and also tried the side entrance, but received no response and departed after about three minutes. The visit came days after actress Hayden Panettiere, 36, was found dead from a suspected overdose at the Judson Mill Lofts Airbnb, located roughly five miles from the Ellison home.
Zach Hickerson, 38, had been photographed at the property the previous day. The grandmother's house had its blinds closed all morning, and the police department has not yet provided a statement regarding the stop. The incident adds another layer of scrutiny to the circumstances surrounding Panettiere's death.
