President Prabowo appoints Syahganda Nainggolan as head of Indonesia's Bakom

President Prabowo Subianto named Syahganda Nainggolan chief of the Government Communications Agency and Fadli Tri Hartono his deputy during a Jakarta ceremony.

On October 1, 2026, President Prabowo Subianto signed Presidential Decree No. 106/P, installing activist Syahganda Nainggolan as head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom) and Fadli Tri Hartono as deputy head. The inauguration at Jakarta's State Palace featured an oath to the 1945 Constitution and a commitment to professional standards. Nainggolan succeeds Muhammad Qodari, who was moved to the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) by Presidential Decree No. 107/P. The council, now comprising 24 members including Pratikno, Muhammad Hatta Rajasa and others, was also sworn in at the ceremony. After taking their oaths, the officials signed the documents in the presence of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, who then offered personal congratulations.
