President Prabowo Vows Lifelong Commitment to Indonesia's Prosperity and Free Education

At a celebration marking the National Mandate Party's 28th year in Jakarta, President Prabowo Subianto declared that his readiness to die for Indonesia was forged when he turned 18. He framed this personal oath as the foundation for his broader agenda to build a prosperous nation where no one suffers from hunger and children are protected from malnutrition and its long-term effects on growth and cognition. Highlighting the problem of school-age children attending classes on empty stomachs, he warned that stunting undermines Indonesia's future competitiveness.

Prabowo stressed that true loyalty to the state demands hard work, not just words, and called for perseverance in welfare programs. He reiterated his commitment to free public education at all levels, from elementary schools to state universities, and said a limited meeting would be convened soon to advance this policy.
