Prime Minister Anwar orders review of UiTM Holdings after loss concerns

During a question-and-answer session at a UiTM alumni event in Shah Alam, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim responded to a participant's request for scrutiny of UiTM Holdings. He ordered a comprehensive review of the holding company's governance and management, to be carried out jointly with the university's vice-chancellor and the Prime Minister's Department. Anwar emphasized that his office would provide necessary assistance and push for the investigation.

The request was prompted by a claim that UiTM Holdings had incurred losses exceeding RM100 million. The Prime Minister's directive aims to identify corrective measures and improve oversight of the university's commercial arm.
