Prince Harry told Hello! that his kids now enjoy classic British pastimes like walking, Marmite on crumpets and, reluctantly, beans on toast since moving back to the UK.
At the WellChild Awards, Prince Harry described how his children have embraced several stereotypically British activities after the family’s move from Montecito to the United Kingdom. He highlighted frequent walks as the most British habit and recounted that Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, now enjoy Marmite spread on crumpets—a food they previously teased him for keeping in California. By contrast, his attempt to introduce beans on toast to the kids “didn’t go down very well.”
Harry noted this event was his third public appearance since the August relocation, after the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards and the debut of the INSPIRE education initiative. He also mentioned that his children sometimes experience “Monday blues,” which he lifts with stories about the ceremony.
