Prosecutors say Ayuso's partner likely hid a payment to Quirón executive
The public prosecutor argues it is highly probable that the partner of Ayuso bought a dormant company to repay a favor received from Quirón Prevención’s president.
The prosecutor’s office submitted a document stating that there is a very high likelihood the partner of Ayuso acquired Círculo de Belleza SL, a company without activity, as a way to repay a favor from Quirón Prevención’s president, Fernando Camino. The filing suggests the favor involved a significant increase in revenue for Alberto González Amador’s companies following a pandemic-era mask contract with Quirón. Prosecutors argue the formal contract does not reflect the true commercial intent, indicating the payment was not a genuine purchase.
They also recommend that the Agencia Tributaria suspend its fiscal inspection of the investigated individuals and the related health groups. The court has already authorized the Guardia Civil’s UCO to examine the banking and corporate records of González Amador, Gloria Carrasco, and Camino, and a hearing for Camino is scheduled for 3 December.
