Russia warns it may hit British forces over UK-supplied missiles used by Ukraine
Russia's foreign ministry said it could target British military sites in retaliation for Ukraine's use of UK-provided missiles.
During a press briefing, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned that Russia could launch attacks on British military installations, whether located in Ukraine or elsewhere, as a response to Ukrainian strikes using British-made missiles. The statement came after Britain announced it would provide Kyiv with classified designs to produce Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles domestically.
France has already agreed to license the same technology for European production. Zakharova framed the British and French support as "playing with fire" by supplying sensitive missile technology to Ukraine.
