Russian drone and bomb attacks damage homes and injure civilians in eastern Ukraine

Russian aerial strikes hit the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, injuring several civilians and destroying or damaging multiple family houses.

Ukrainian military officials said Russian drones and guided bombs struck the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions on Monday. In Izjum, Kharkiv, a 56-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman and a two-month-old baby were injured, and four family houses were completely destroyed with five additional homes damaged. Meanwhile, Russian forces launched ten drone attacks on settlements across three districts of Dnipropetrovsk since Sunday night, wounding two women in the Petropavlivskyi locality. The air force command reported that Russian forces used 108 strike and decoy drones during the night, and Ukrainian air defenses shot down 85 of them, confirming hits at seven locations.
