Early Wednesday, a Russian drone slammed into a minibus in the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing five passengers and wounding at least seven, according to regional military head Oleksandr Hanzha. He added that a passenger train in the Mykolaiv region was also hit, damaging a station and a diesel locomotive, while an electric locomotive in Kovel suffered a strike.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha warned that such attacks are systematic attempts to cripple logistics, evacuations and the economy, and appealed for partner assistance in replacing damaged locomotives. Zelenskyy also rejected claims of an energy-infrastructure truce, stating Ukraine would consider such an agreement only if Russia halted all attacks on energy facilities.
