Satirical resignation letter by CJP founder sparks BJP backlash and FIR calls

Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke circulated a satirical resignation letter on X, pretending to step down as Madhya Pradesh chief minister and thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while condemning the state’s handling of the Sagar hooch tragedy and recent tribal child deaths in Balaghat. The faux document, styled like an official letter and bearing the state emblem, sparked a split on social media: some users applauded his criticism of the BJP-led state government, whereas BJP activists such as Vignesh Shishir demanded a police complaint for alleged misuse of official letterhead.

Dipke had traveled to the Balaghat villages of Adori, Korka and Bondari to speak with affected families and assess healthcare facilities, during which a local influencer confronted him on camera, questioning his motives. The exchange grew tense, leading CJP members to escort Dipke away. Calls for legal action continue as the episode highlights tensions over political satire and the use of state symbols.
