Swedish gang figure ‘Scar’ to be charged with multiple murders and bombings
Ildar Galiyev, known as “Scar”, faces an indictment for over 20 crimes, including four murders, six attempted murders and several bomb attacks tied to a gang feud in Sweden.
Ildar Galiyev, nicknamed “Scar”, is identified as a high-ranking operative in the Dalennätverket and is alleged to have acted as a violent coordinator in its conflict with the Foxotrotnätverket. The prosecution says the feud produced a series of serious offenses in 2023-24, including four murders, six attempted murders and multiple incidents of severe public endangerment. Galiyev was detained in Greece in the summer of 2024 after Swedish prosecutors secured a European arrest warrant; he was later convicted in Greece before being extradited to Sweden at the start of 2026 and detained by Södertörns tingsrätt in February.
Among the charges are incitement to the Fullerö bomb that killed a 24-year-old woman, involvement in the Fruängen shooting of an 18-year-old, a March 2023 Hässelby bomb that devastated a housing block, a September 2023 explosion in Linköping and a May 2024 shooting on Södermalm. Galiyev, a Kazakh-born dual citizen who grew up in Enskededalen, denies all allegations. Prosecutors Lukas Tigerstrand and Mats Ihlbom said the indictment will be filed on Wednesday, with the trial set for 3 November.
