Tampin UMNO chief urges state leaders to prioritize party or face removal

During the UMNO state assembly, Isam Isa, head of the Tampin division, urged Negeri Sembilan's administration to prioritize UMNO's agenda above all else, noting that the party had placed them in power. He implied that the current Menteri Besar, Ismail Lasim, was not the party's preferred candidate and cautioned that officials who do not serve party goals risk being ousted. Isa used a local saying about receiving the wrong product to illustrate his point, likening it to filing a complaint for a refund.

He also appealed for the government to recognize and reward grassroots members, particularly those from Wanita Umno, who worked hard during the campaign. The speech highlighted internal party dynamics and the expectation of patronage now that UMNO controls the state government.
