Turcan warns Luca Niculescu may be forced into PSD's governance plan

PNL deputy Raluca Turcan says she will judge Luca Niculescu's proposed cabinet to see if he joins a PSD-led agenda she deems harmful.

Raluca Turcan, a deputy from the National Liberal Party, posted on Facebook that she will evaluate the team of ministers Luca Niculescu intends to propose. She argues that the composition will show if Niculescu is willing to become part of a plan orchestrated by the Social Democratic Party, which she says would surrender governance to those responsible for the country's economic disaster. Turcan criticises former premier Sorin Grindeanu for allegedly seeking to remove Ilie Bolojan from PNL leadership, force PSD to govern with hand-picked PNL members, end cooperation with USR, and control state resources.

She warns that PSD aims to fill government positions with its own allies and exploit public money. Turcan calls for transparent explanations from Niculescu if he wants parliamentary support, rejecting what she calls superficial arguments.

The statement signals internal tension within Romania's governing coalition and could affect upcoming cabinet formation.
