Turkish Fenerbahçe ultra shot in the face at Malaga marina, remains in serious condition

Police say a 47-year-old Turkish supporter of Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü was seriously wounded after a gunman shot him in the face while he was having dinner at a restaurant near the Muelle Uno marina in Malaga. Two shots were fired; one bullet pierced his face, and he survived after undergoing surgery and remains in hospital in serious condition. The Drugs and Organised Crime Unit (Udyco) of the Malaga provincial police is leading the investigation, considering a possible connection to a feud between two major Turkish mafia groups.

The motive may relate to the August 3, 2025 murder of gang member Caner Koçer in Torrevieja, after which his associates publicly demanded revenge. Witnesses reported the assailants descending the stairs from Paseo de la Farola, crossing the Gorki restaurant terrace, and shooting calmly before escaping. The incident comes less than a week after the murder of a 20-year-old named Nacho in Barcenillas, an attack also attributed to organised-crime figures.
