Two individuals to be charged over alleged Kedah fertilizer distribution irregularities
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission says two people will face charges for suspected misconduct in a fertilizer distribution scheme to Kedah farmers.
The MACC has completed its probe into the fertilizer allocation case and classified it under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009. Chief commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman announced that the prosecution unit will forward the file to the Attorney-General. If consent is granted, formal charges could be filed in court within the next two weeks.
