Ukraine says its forces struck oil sites far inside Russia and hit patrol boats in the Black Sea
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian attacks hit oil facilities deep within Russia and damaged two Russian patrol boats in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said his country's forces successfully targeted oil infrastructure far inside Russian territory, including a refinery in Bashkortostan over 1,300 km behind the front and another in the Yaroslavl region roughly 700 km from the border. He added that two Russian military patrol boats were struck in the Black Sea, as well as ships belonging to Russia's shadow fleet, though details on damage were not provided.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported shooting down 605 Ukrainian drones over multiple regions, Crimea, and the Black and Azov seas. Meanwhile, Russian drone and glide-bomb attacks on Ukraine killed at least three civilians and injured 22, prompting Kyiv to seek additional interceptor missiles from allies. Zelenskyy said he discussed interceptor procurement with NATO chief Mark Rutte and Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
