Former health minister slams designated premier for skipping talks and stalling Romania's government formation

Alexandru Rogobete, who previously served as Romania's health minister, reacted to Sorin Grindeanu's report that Siegfried Mureșan waited in vain for talks. Rogobete affirmed that Mureșan failed to appear at the Chamber of Deputies and later at the PSD office, and did not provide any outline of a governing program. He accused the designated premier of wasting time and perpetuating political instability, noting that a serious candidate would have arrived with a concrete plan and initiated substantive discussions with the PSD.

Rogobete emphasized that Romania needs stability and a fully empowered government, not political games. Grindeanu added that he also expected an electronic version of the governing plan, suggesting Mureșan's lack of commitment to the premiership.
