Former Los Rocho member reveals plan to kill judge overseeing Sánchez brother case

A former Los Rocho affiliate disclosed that the network linked to Leire Díez intended to murder magistrate Beatriz Biedma, who is investigating David Sánchez.

A former Los Rocho operative, identified by police as “Moto Ratón,” told investigators that the plan discussed by Leire Díez’s network to “eliminate” magistrate Beatriz Biedma was a literal intent to kill her. The informant broke with the clan in 2024 over a dispute involving several million euros and says he has been threatened, noting a recent armed attack on his brother’s house that involved children. Biedma, who is presiding over the case against David Sánchez, the brother of the government leader, has been admitted as a private prosecutor after claiming she suffered defamation and obstruction of justice.

She submitted evidence of videos targeting her on the YouTube channel Magistrado Anticorrupción TV, which is run by former judge Luis José Sáenz de Tejada.

Why it matters

It exposes a possible murder plot against a judge handling a high-profile political case, raising concerns about judicial independence and organized-crime influence.
