Around 6.50 pm, a landslide struck the area surrounding Leisure Bay Condominium in Tanjung Tokong, causing a BMW and a Honda City to become partially buried. The Penang Fire and Rescue Department responded, deploying six firefighters, while police units also assisted. Assistant operations director John Sagun Francis confirmed that no casualties were recorded and that rescue efforts are ongoing.
