Meta launches Muse AI assistant tailored for small business owners
Meta has introduced a version of its Muse AI agent that integrates with Instagram, Facebook and a range of third-party tools for small businesses.
Meta unveiled Muse for Small Business, an AI assistant that hooks into users' Facebook and Instagram business and creator accounts as well as advertising dashboards. The agent now supports integration with third-party applications including Canva, Figma, Slack, Asana, Box, Dropbox, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Notion, Shopify, Stripe and Zoom, enabling it to pull data from these services. With access to social media analytics, the assistant can produce performance reports, suggest ad strategies and answer financial performance questions.
Sample prompts range from reviewing monthly expenses to creating growth plans based on sales and campaign data. While Meta emphasizes built-in privacy and security, it warns that the AI may still misinterpret commands. The tool is free for most routine tasks, but more intensive usage may require a paid subscription, echoing Meta's broader push into AI services for enterprises.
