Russian drone strike on Kramatorsk bus adds to deadly attacks across Ukraine
Russian forces killed at least two people and wounded 27 in a series of attacks, including an FPV drone hit on a passenger bus in Kramatorsk.
Over the past day Russian forces launched more than a hundred Shahed-type drones, including jet-powered variants, across Ukraine. An FPV drone hit a passenger bus in Kramatorsk around 7:08 a.m., wounding two riders, while overall casualties rose to at least two dead and 27 injured. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 88 drones, but strikes still damaged a high-rise building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district and hit civilian infrastructure in several regions.
President Zelensky listed hits on apartments in Kramatorsk and Sumy, a bridge in Kyiv, a kindergarten in Kherson, and a grocery store in Kharkiv. Regional governors reported additional injuries in Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
