Ukrainian drones strike Belgorod, killing three and wounding dozens

Ukrainian drones struck the Russian city of Belgorod during the night, causing three deaths and 25 injuries, local authorities said. The blasts set fire to two apartment blocks, which emergency crews later put out, while a wide range of residential and non-residential buildings suffered damage, according to acting Belgorod region governor Alexander Shuvayev. Russia's Defence Ministry claimed it shot down more than 150 Ukrainian drones over the European part of Russia, as well as over Crimea, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

In the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, drone fragments landed on two unspecified facilities, noted mayor Alexander Kravchenko. A separate incident in Bashkortostan saw a Ukrainian drone hit a construction site and a crane in the city of Ufa.
