Mi Hazánk Movement convenes congress to refresh party leadership

At a congress organized by the Mi Hazánk Mozgalom, the leadership slate was refreshed. Toroczkai László, who has led the party since its 2018 founding, entered the race for party president again. Dúró Dóra was put forward for the vice-presidential role, and former vice presidents Apáti István, Dócs Dávid, Novák Előd and Pakusza Zoltán also sought re-election, with the possibility of more candidates joining the vice-presidential board.

Energy lawyer Tóth Máté, a previous presidential candidate, said he had been asked by Toroczkai to become a vice president and accepted. Party officials indicated that the increase in vice-presidential seats is being considered due to the growing workload. The morning session began with a report from Toroczkai, followed by discussions on organizational matters, including proposed changes to the party’s statutes, with final results expected later in the day.
